FAQ
What
is raw/living food?
Raw or living food is food that is uncooked, sprouted, or dehydrated
at low temperatures to preserve the natural occurring enzymes and
nutrients. Enzymes and nutrients begin to be destroyed at 116°F.
Freezing food still
leaves most of their enzymes intact.
What are enzymes?
The enzymes in raw food help the body's supply of enzymes break down
and digest food. This allows the nutrients to be easily assimilated
into the body without using too much of your body's own digestive
enzymes. This helps save energy, which aids in slowing down the aging
process and protect the body against disease.
What is organic?
Organically certified food has not been Genetically Modified, or treated
with pesticides or preservatives.
What is vegan?
A Vegan lifestyle excludes the use or consumption of any animal products.
Why
would someone want to eat a raw and living foods diet?
Persons embracing this type of diet invariably experience improvements
in their general physical and mental status, including more energy,
better health, weight loss, detoxification, and a sturdier immune
system.
